The Orange Line: 2024 Holiday Train Exhibit
The Center for Architecture and Design is excited to launch The Orange Line 2024! Our theme this year is Columbus’ Forgotten Landmarks Reborn and we can’t wait to see your models. Please mark your calendars to join us for a celebration of the exhibit Friday, Dec. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at CFAD, 50 West Town St.
One final note: If your firm is too busy this year to build a mode for the Orange Line, please consider sponsoring one of our student teams from architecture and design program at central Ohio high schools.
Here is a list of central Ohio’s forgotten landmarks to get you started.
Up to 15 participating teams may purchase a 12”x18” plot along the train line – to display their design to recreate one of Columbus’ forgotten landmarks.
Models will be constructed with all white Lego™ bricks (clear for glass is acceptable) – no shorter than 24” and no taller than 48”. Lego™ sets to be used for your model are available at CFAD to be picked up, or can be delivered to your firm.
Please plan to join us at CFAD for an opening reception to celebrate the unveiling on Friday, December 6th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! No registration required.
