Why This Matters?

Creating a Pathway

Minorities and women are underrepresented in the design professions. Our youth design programs create a pathway to learn about and explore design professions as careers.

More Women, Minorities Needed

A recent industry study showed that 83 percent of newly licensed architects were white and 65 percent were male. Only 17% of registered architects are women.

Diversity Leads to Better Design

When a variety of designers work together on a project the result is a mixture of perspectives and experiences that generate an inclusive experience for a broader audience.
