Twenty-five and an immigrant from Nigeria, Temi Coker is a photographer, graphic designer and high school teacher. His story is full of failures and blessings that have made him a man of many talents. After switching from a biomedical engineering degree to one in digital media, Temi bought his first camera and subsequently went broke. He persevered, and in 2014, his photos of his homeland kick-started a career as a featured photographer on Instagram. Currently, he is challenging himself to experiment and enhance his graphic design skills by creating a poster a day for a year. Always moving forward, but never forgetting to look back, Temi aims to provide insight and inspiration to others (especially his own students).
