A museum addition, private residence, townhomes, office interior, and academic building are the winners of the American Institute of Architects, Columbus Chapter (AIA Columbus), 2016 annual juried architecture awards’ competition, honoring outstanding architecture designed by Columbus architects. The winners, which include two honor and three merit awards, will be on view at The Center through March. Winning firms are DesignGroup, Jonathan Barnes Architecture and Design, Lincoln Street Studio with GRA+D Architects, NBBJ Columbus and Acock Associates Architects. Please join us at The Center Thursday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m., to celebrate the exhibit opening. We’ll begin with a Design Talk panel discussion featuring some of the winners at 6 p.m., followed by a reception at 7 p.m. This event is free to attend and open to the public.
AIA continuing education credit (1 HSW learning unit) is available for the panel discussion.
